I have picked out 20 of my best pictures to insipre you to visit Bath. There is no shock that I found Bath to be one of the most beautiful cities I have been to in England. If you followed my instagram stories and read my twitter, you would have noted that I was very fascinated by the beauty of this city in Somerset. A day’s trip is enough to walk around the city and get the best pictures which is just what I did!
I will probably still gush a little more in my full post. However, whilst I compose my thoughts and put them into words, I hope these pictures inspire you to book a quick trip to Bath!
Then it was off to the famous Pulteney Bridge. This is where I confess that I went to Bath because of this bridge. I had to see that horse-shoe weir in real life to actually believe it was real lol. However, my subsequent post will give more insight as to why I needed to see it in real life!
Sometimes, I think pictures can do most of the talking. The serenity, the architecture, the history – all these should inspire you to visit Bath.
Weather in Bath, Somerset in February
The weather stayed nice, the storm and rain from the previous day left a cool tone on the buildings. The little pockets of sunshine glistened and bounced off the structures while little birds and seagulls were meeting at various points in the city. Basically, it was a very beautiful day and we were lucky to have met the city on such a day!
Thankfully, there was not much traffic around the city even though it was half term. I guess people were still recovering from the storm and expected it to rain on the day as well so it meant that we had a few of the spots like the gardens to ourselves!
