About Me

Hi everyone, I am Nwabugo and most people call me Bugo, a few people call me Ugo! I can always tell at what stage you met me in life by the name you call me lol. I work full time in the financial corporate world, a job I really enjoy. However, for as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved to travel too. Well, always liked the idea of travelling.

Growing up in Lagos, I was a day dreamer of some sort. I always knew I was not going to live in Nigeria forever and consistently allowed my mind wander beyond its shores. My 1st grown up trip was when I was 19 years old and moved to Besançon (eastern France in the region of Franche-Comté) for 6 months and I had never felt so alive and free. I say “grown up” because it was the first time I wandered without my parents’ guidance and learnt to appreciate travel on my terms.

It helps that I’ve always been a hopeless romantic; which means that I tend to define things in my own way, romanticise a lot and live a somewhat whimsical life within my own bubble.
