Our Stay at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
It is becoming rare that a hotel will leave me absolutely speechless. Let’s be honest, as a luxury travel content creator, I have stayed in my fair share (as much as my bank account will allow) of luxury hotels. However, our stay at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt was something out of the ordinary. I genuinely think it might be one of the best hotels in Egypt.
We spent 3 days in Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh and I wish we stayed even longer as we loved it so much. The property is 90 acres so it is huge and basically, a mini town. I think it is impossible to walk around, it’s just that huge.
Getting to Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
We were picked up by the hotel’s driver from the airport and this was where the luxury began. There was wifi in the car and I remember thinking that was quite cool. We drove about 15 mins and then we were at the entrance to the hotel. Once we stepped in, we were greeted by concierge who took our suitcases and ushered us to the reception. First things first, we were given an “immunity shot” which was a green juice drink and cold towels.
The Reception at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
Our room was not yet ready (we got there at about 11am) so we went straight to the pool side restaurant, Waha for some lunch. Once our room was ready, we got in the golf buggy and were shown our room.

First Impressions of Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
I thought it was just so beautiful. I had seen photos online but tbh, they don’t do it justice at all. Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh is absolutely stunning. The staff was so welcoming and it was obvious we had stepped into somewhere special once we got to reception. I also remember that it smelled lovely; that luxurious spa smell that immediately calms you.
There were lots of pretty flowers which our daughter quickly noticed. I also loved the massive palm trees that were all around the property. Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh is a photographer’s dream. It is so aesthetically pleasing and that’s the first thing that stood out to me.
Our Stay at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh: Our Room
We stayed in room 1017 which is in the newer part of the resort. It was a ground floor “Premier King room with Island view”. Our room had a lovely patio that opened into our own private mini garden and in the distance was the red sea. The positioning of our room could not have been better.

Bringing it back into the room, the room itself was big with a massive king sized bed to one side for us. To the other side, the sofa bed was already made for our daughter and a welcome gift of a tee-shirt and face cap from the kids club greeted her. Our room had 2 TVs; one in front of our king sized bed and the other in front of the sofa bed. This was very useful throughout our stay.

Our little nook
The walk in closet is the first thing you see when you walk into the room as it is opposite the door. Our bedroom was to the right and the bathroom was on the left side of the entrance.
The bathroom was huge and had a massive stand alone bath that was the centre piece of the room. There was a separate shower with 2 shower heads and the toilet was tucked away behind its own door.

I loved that there were 2 sinks and the table top was spread across to accommodate every skincare and toiletries possible. The bathroom was a very gorgeous and relaxing space. And in Four Season’s luxury style, the products were by ByRedo.

Restaurants at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
We had room service on the first night and it was really good. As much as we loved the food, we knew we wanted to dine out subsequent nights so we could enjoy the restaurants too.
There are 7 restaurants in the hotel; each one with a different flair. Yutai is the Pan Asian restaurant and il Frantoio is the Italian restaurant. We had dinner at Yutai and of course, it was fantastic, no surprises there.
Breakfast was a part of our package so we had it at Arabesque buffet style. 2 other restaurants offered breakfast as well but we loved Arabesque on the first morning so we just stuck with it.
Breakfast at Arabesque

All restaurants had a kids menu that was specific to the cuisine. So the Italian restaurant had an Italian menu for kids, the Asian restaurant had an Asian menu for kids etc. I must say that for the standard of food and hotel, the prices were not too crazy to us. Our dinners cost around £65 each night and this included a main and drink for each of us and we usually shared a starter. Portions were huge so tbh, only a main meal would have been more than enough.
The Pools
There are 4 main (huge) outdoor pools in the hotel and since we were on the newer side, Gezira pool was the closest to us. We actually did not use the pool the whole time we were there. I’m not sure why but we were on the beach a lot so maybe that was it. Usually, Adanna drags us to the pool but this time, she loved playing around in the shallow end of the beach so we stuck to it.
I loved that there was a pool specific to swimmers who love a pool work out. This Spa Lap Pool had freshwater and was perfect for lap swimmers.
The Beach
As with the pools, there are 2 main beaches as well and we stuck to Breeze beach which was a 3 mins walk from our room. On hot afternoons, we just got the golf cart down to the beach. I must say that the beach experience was wonderful. We had planned to stay there for just an hour but ended up staying for 3 hours the first day. As we got to the beach, a staff found us our loungers and opened up the parasols. He set up our beach towels and then brought us a cooler of water.
The beach is private to the Four Seasons which is cool as it’s never busy. There are the typical beach activities on offer like diving, snorkelling etc. However we were just there to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Mr E and Adanna built sandcastles and she spent most of the afternoon in water. I joined a few times but the lounger was much more my vibe.
We got some cocktails from the beach bar and for Adanna, she had some apple juice. It was just so lovely, lounging in the sunshine and enjoying the sound of the waves. I loved that there was no disco music or any music at all. It was just nice and quiet like you’d expect a beach to be.
The Kid’s Club
Where do I even start from? The kids club was Montessori style and was open from 9am – 9pm. I don’t think I have ever seen a kids club open until 9pm. It was our first time in a Four Seasons hotel so maybe this is normal with other Four Seasons?
The ladies who worked there were a wonderful bunch and I noticed that kids of all ages were there. For kids under 4, if they had older siblings, they were allowed in. There were different rooms and different activities; from face painting to arts and craft to card games. I loved that there was something suitable for babies, toddlers, young kids and even up till early teens too.
We stayed with our daughter only because we are still not sure how we feel about leaving her at kids club yet. She’s a pre-school child so she’ll always love activities and adventures; no doubt, kids club is going to be something she loves too. However, maybe when she is older, we will feel more confident dropping her off. For now, we stay there with her while she plays.
The Hotel Grounds at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
This is where I was literally dumbfounded each time we ventured outside our room. Four Seasons hotel Sharm el Sheikh is incredibly stunning. It felt like we were within a garden the whole time as pretty flowers sprung from every corner as you walked around.
There was a stunning fountain that caught my eyes and I remember walking around one evening and we noticed the sunset. It was one of the most beautiful sights to see; watching the fountain as the sun set in its back drop is unforgettable.

Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh is huge. I mean, the property is 90 acres so it is like a village on its own.
The Staff at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
I think this is what sets them even more apart from other hotels. The level of attentiveness and professionalism are just some of the best I have ever experienced. I don’t think I have stayed in a hotel where every staff knew my name.
Once they asked our names, they never forgot it; especially our daughter’s. As you can imagine, our 3 year old felt very special whenever they referred to her by her name. They would mention my name each time when they said hello, every time I’d ring the reception or room service or buggy service. For a huge hotel, it still somehow felt like we had an intimate experience usually reserved for boutique hotels. This, I can confirm is all thanks to the wonderful staff.
The ladies at kids club were on another level of fantastic. I’m not sure if they are teachers by training but they were so good with our daughter. She had just turned 3 when we visited and I loved that they were so gentle and patient with her.
Is Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh Kids friendly?
Just in case it has not been clear enough, yes it is extremely kids friendly. In fact, I will go as far as saying it was established with families who have children in mind. When we arrived, Adanna was given her own “passport” which included activities all around the hotel fro her to tick off throughout our stay.
Kids’ “passport”
Bathrobes for kids
From the tailored kids menus in every restaurant specific to the cuisines to high chairs everywhere, Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh was very kids friendly. Then you had staff who would literally converse with the kids and make them feel included. We were there around Easter and there were Easter-themed events for kids to enjoy. The bathrooms in the general areas even had steps to help kids wash their hands. I could go on and on but you get the gist.
They also had babysitting services available which I could tell was quite popular with parents in residence.
Other amenities at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
There is a 24 hour fitness centre, tennis courts, squash courts and even a teen centre with table tennis and games to keep them occupied. I also noticed a lot of activities at the beach; next to it was a diving centre as well. Like I mentioned previously, this hotel is its own town and even if we spent 7 days there, we would still not have experienced all the activities.
Egypt Hotel Review: Our stay at Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh
There are not many hotels that I’d easily and gladly pay to go back to but FS Sharm el Sheikh is one of the few. I usually love to explore a new hotel each time I travel but honestly, I’d go back to Sharm el Sheikh just to stay at this hotel. It was luxury on a different level. I will not mince words, it was expensive but my goodness, it was worth every single penny we paid.
Until my next epic hotel stay!
Bisous, Bugo x
