The sun rises in Mexico
I will be the first to admit that I am and have always been a sunset girl. I shamelessly and intentionally chase sunsets in every location. They always leave me so mesmerised by their colours and how they weave into the sky and appear to tell a story.
I also think that I am usually too lazy to wake up early to catch a decent sunrise so I’ve never really had the experience of being blown away by a sunrise. The one time I did wake up early, the sunrise did not happen *ahem* Montauk lol
Anyway, this time, after I had a random casual chat with the bartender about sunsets, he asked if I had witnessed the sunrise on the property, I of course made some excuses but made a mental note to wake up early the next day to catch it. My iPhone weather app told me that sunrise would be around 5.30am so my alarm was set for 5.15am and I was ready to brave waking up at an ungodly hour on holiday.

The sun became much harsher and started to resemble an orange and red fire behind all the blues, yellows and purples.

This is what I call the peak beauty moment. That moment where there is the eclipse between night and day, I believe is the most beautiful when viewing sunsets and sunrises.

Sigh! How beautiful! One of the most rewarding mornings of my entire life!
So there it is. The most beautiful sunrise there ever was.
